Prof. Daniels Kwabena Obeng-Ofori was inducted into office as the 3rd Vice-Chancellor of the Catholic University College of Ghana, Fiapre at a colourful ceremony at the University College’s Campus, on Saturday, 26th November, 2016. The Chairman of the Governing Council, Most Rev. John Bonaventure Kwofie; the Bishop of the Sekondi-Takoradi Diocese of the Catholic Church, performed the induction ceremony. He was supported by Prof. Ebenezer Oduro Owusu, Vice-Chancellor, University of Ghana and Prof. Eric Magnus Wilmot, Provost of the College of Educational Studies who represented the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast....

The new Vice-Chancellor swore the Oath of Office which was administered by the Chairman of the Governing Council. In his acceptance speech, Professor Obeng-Ofori paid a glowing tribute to the Ghana Catholic Bishops Conference (GCBC) and Prof. James Hawkins Ephraim, the immediate past Vice-Chancellor, for their show of leadership that had brought the University College thus far.
