The Library of the Catholic University College of Ghana(CUCG) was established with the Unversity College, Its Parent Institution, in March 2003. The Library is directed towards dynamic development into a collection that will be made up of books, periodicals, and other print documents as well as electronic and other non-print materials. These are expected to provide essential background knowledge to the subjects taught in formal lectures. they will also provide research information, and informal reading materials on a wider range of topics that will provide access to a broader knowledge of the world.

The Library of the catholic University College is an academic Library, and its primary objective is to support teaching, learning and research activities through the provision of information resources.

Vision
The vision of the CUCG Library is to become a centre of excellence in the provision of information in all type of format for teaching learning and research.

Mission
The Mission of the Library is to cater for the information needs of faculty, students, and non-teaching (Administrative) staff of the University, as well as non-members of the University in the Sunyani and its environs who are engaged in tertiary studies and research activities.

Patrons
There are four main categories of users of the Library. These include

• Students
• Lecturers or Faculty
• Non-teaching staff
• Non-members of the university community in sunyani and its environs.

Services
The Library offers the following Services

• Document Supply: Lending and Reference
• Answering of enquiries-other than document supply
• Photocopying
  
• Orientation for freshmen/women
• Internet Access

Registration
All categories of user are required to register with library.

• Two(2) passport pictures
• Admiission letter (CUCG students only)

Opening Hours
Monday-Friday (8:00am - 6:00pm)
Saturdays        (9:00am - 5:00pm)
Sundays and Public Holidays
