Dr. Daniel McKorley, the Chief Executive Officer of McDan Group of Companies and the McDan Foundation has performed a ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of a lecture hall complex for the Catholic University of Ghana in Fiapre, Sunyani.

The complex, to be named the McDan Block would comprise lecture halls, Radio & TV Studios and offices for the Department of Journalism of the University. Dr. McKorley disclosed that the project was in fulfillment of a promise he made to support the infrastructural needs of the University.

Professor Daniel Obeng-Ofori, the Vice-Chancellor of the University described the project as timely, as it will house a campus FM Radio station that would facilitate the practical training of students pursuing the Bachelor of Science in Journalism programme. He expressed his appreciation to the McDan Foundation for coming to the aid of the University.
