>> provide day-to-day financial services to the University,its faculty,departments, students and staff,

Our Mission

To be a leading edge service provider in supporting the University’s set objectives by providing timely quality financial advice and information to all our stakeholders.

Our services include:-

  • ¬†Recording of all financial transactions, ensuring compliance with statutes, preparation of published Financial Statements and maintaining the integrity of the financial data
  • Implement and administer adequate financial controls to maximize assets and reserves
  • Identify and manage financial and operational risk
  • Monitor, report and direct financial performance
  • Provide quality information to facilitate effective forward decision making
  • Ensure efficient treasury management and funding strategy
  • Provide corporate planning services, to advise and guide on financial matters
  • Accounting services to the University Faculties and Departments
  • Management Accounting and advice to budget holders
  • Procurement services for the university
  • Maintenance, Development and providing Training services for the University’s Financial System.
  • Collection and administration of Student Fees.

The Finance Office is situated on the second floor of the Resource Centre Building at the University Campus at Fiapre.

The normal opening hours are:
9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday
9.00am to 4.00pm Saturday
