 Development on Campus

Conference on Alternative Dispute Resolution(ADR)

The Catholic University College and the Fordham Law School held a Conference and established a conflict resolution centre on campus.

The centre gives training to lay people within the Sunyani Metropolis on how to settle disputes and cases out of court using the mediation and arbitration process.

The Marian Conflict Resolution Centre in August , 2011 organized a trainer of trainers' workshop on dispute resolution.

The centre has an administrative secretary who serves as a link between the University and our collaborators in the United State of America and Ghana. She is an Alumnus of our University.

 On-going Project

It is hoped that work on the hostel facilities will begin as soon as funds are available to ease the burden of students and staff alike.

The University has been able to secure some funding and plans are far advanced to continue with its hostel projects as well as the lecturer's village.

Acquisition of Vehicle

As the University College is growing steadily, there was the need to purchase some cars to ensure the working of the University are improved. Four cars were purchased. Three Nissan Navara pick-ups to augment transport pool, and one Nissan Patrol assigned to the Vice-Chancellor as his duty post office vehicle.

The Catholic University College made donation of six computers and six box of books to St. John's Senior High Schol, Sekondi.

However, the University College received various donations from individuals, the church and organizations to support the activities of the University.

The Catholic University is most grateful to all, who in diverse ways, tried to assist in kind and in cash, especially the faithful of the Catholic Church in most of the dioceses in Ghana and abroad.
