Catholic University College of Ghana Marks 20th Congregation and 30th Matriculation

A total number of 512, comprising 268 undergraduates and 244 Post-graduates students were graduated, whilst 800 fresh students were admitted into the university for the 2021/2022 academic year to pursue various diploma and degree programmes
The joint ceremony which was held on the 27th of November, 2021 assembled a number of dignitaries such as Most Rev. Matthew Kwasi Gyamfi, Chairman, CUCG Governing Council; Most Rev. Peter Kwaku Atuahene, Bishop of Goaso; Hon. Justina Owusu-Banahene, Regional Minister, Bono Region; Dr. Daniel McKorley, Founder and Executive Chairman, McDan Group of Companies, who was the Guest Speaker; Hon. Ansu Kumi, MCE, Sunyani Municipal Assembly; Prof. Kwamena Kwansah Aidoo, Rector, Ghana Institute of Journalism; Prof. Gabriel A. Teye, Vice Chancellor, University of Development Studies; Prof. Emmanuel Kofi Gyimah, Vice Chancellor Representative, University of Cape Coast; Prof. John Gyimah, Vice Chancellor Representative, University of Ghana, Legon among others.
Constituting the Assembly, the Chairman of the Governing Council who is also the Bishop of Sunyani, Most Rev. Matthew Kwasi Gyamfi advised parents and guardians to be patient with their wards and never mount unnecessary pressures on them. He also edged parents to continue to support their wards until they secure a job.
The President of the Catholic University College of Ghana, Prof. Daniel Obeng-Ofori in his address, said CUCG was transforming itself, and harnessing the Catholic quality brand to become a globally competitive and student-centered teaching and learning institution....
